Hanne Gjerstad Folde
Hanne is a data scientist and spends her days digging into production data, analyzing, understanding and explaining various phenomena. She holds a MSc in Petroleum Engineering from NTNU, with specialization in production and additional courses in computer science. A Bergen native, she loves to talk, knit and go mountain hiking.

Anders Wenhaug
Anders leads the company’s IT development together with Ole Jørgen. He prefers to work with GPU computing, databases and software performance optimization, and holds an MSc. in Computer Science from NTNU on the topic of load balancing of applications on heterogeneous systems. Anders loves remote controlled vehicles and vessels, builds his own drones and is an avid golfer.

Frida Bjørnstad Konow
Frida is a part of the Data Science team. She hold an MSc in Industrial Chemistry from NTNU, with a specialization in optimization and control. She did her master thesis about reinforcement learning in real-time optimization from Vancouver as a part of the UBC Data Analytics and Intelligent Systems lab. Frida is a dedicated runner, holding the company half-marathon record.

Kristoffer Nesland
Kristoffer is a part of our data science team. He holds an MSC in Mechanical Engineering from NTNU in Trondheim specializing in Robotics and Automation, and has taken additional computer science courses. Kristoffer usually keeps a high pace, and enjoys activities like mountain biking, orienteering and cross-country skiing.

Ingvil Ahlsand
Ingvil is a part of the Data Science team. She holds a MSc. in Engineering and ICT from NTNU in Trondheim, specialised in Geomatics. She did her master thesis about detecting ship-to-ship transfers combining semi-supervised learning. Outside the office she plays tennis and seeks mountains and cross-country tracks. Ingvil is also a real «badeengel».

Jens Nikolai Alfsen
Jens has joined our team as a developer. He holds a masters degree in Engineering & ICT at NTNU, specializing in Marine Cybernetics and AI. When it's time for leisure, Jens prefers board sports like snowboarding and surfing, playing chess or watching the science fiction sitcom Rick and Morty.

Henrik Larsson Hestnes
Henrik is a part of our software development team, holding a M.Sc. in Cybernetics and Robotics from NTNU in Trondheim, specializing in real-time systems and machine learning. Besides writing killer code, Henrik is an avid ball sports enthusiast who often grapples with finding time for his many interests, with football and tennis currently topping his list of favorites.

Anders Sandnes
As our Principal Data Scientist and machine learning expert, Anders leads the company's initiatives on AI algorithm and model engineering. He holds an MSc from Engineering Cybernetics at NTNU with specialization in optimization. He has been working at Solution Seeker since its inception. Anders has more than 15 years of snowskate experience!

Sofie is a part of our Data Science team. She holds an MSc in Chemical Engineering from NTNU with a specialization within process control and optimization. Outside the office Sofie enjoys to be active and spend time with family and friends.

Christine Foss Sjulstad
Christine has joined our team as a Data Scientist. She holds an MSc in Industrial Economics and Technology Management at NTNU, specializing in artificial intelligence and optimization. Christine is a nerdy enthusiast, holding the company record in the number of viewings of the Harry Potter movie series and being a sucker for Pokémon.

Tor Hedin Brønner
Tor Hedin is a front-end developer at Solution Seeker. He holds a BSc in Computer Science from UiO. Tor Hedin's favorite activities are open source coding and vegan cooking. His signature dish is Lentil Curry with fried rice.

Kristian Løvland
Kristian is part of the Solution Seeker research team, and is pursuing his PhD on machine learning for control. He holds an MSc in Cybernetics and Robotics from NTNU, specializing in process control. He enjoys reading, cooking, and attending quiz events around Oslo.

Anine Ahlsand
Anine is a part of our Data Science team. She holds an MSc in Engineering and ICT from NTNU in Trondheim, specializing in biomechanics and artificial intelligence. Besides her passion for innovation and technology, she loves adventures, and seeks mountains, skiing and climbing whenever she can.

Gjermund Bae
Gjermund is part of our Data Science team and holds an MSc in Cybernetics and Robotics from NTNU. His master’s thesis focused on modeling and optimizing lettuce growth in vertical farms. In his free time, he enjoys trekking, fishing, playing chess, and watching cinema.

Tor Istvan Stadler Kjetså
Tor holds a MSc in Cybernetics and Robotics from NTNU, specializing in real-time systems. He is a Linux devotee and enjoys automating tasks that takes more time to automate than to do. Tor is an active person and spends much time running, skiing or finding new activities, though the preferred sport is football. Tor also enjoys fantasy books and metal concerts.

Knut Vågnes Eriksen
Knut is part of our software development team and holds a MSc in Cybernetics and Robotics from NTNU. Originally from Oslo, he now resides in the vibrant city of Rio de Janeiro. When not working on complex coding projects, Knut enjoys playing futevolei, and is a regular at the beach where he perfects his game. Knut also acts as the companies’ head of caipirinha research.

Sindre Kummervold
Sindre is a part out our Data Science team. He holds a M.Sc. in Cybernetics and Robotics from NTNU, with a specialization in Autonomous Systems. He has spent 2 years as a member of the Technical organization Ascend NTNU. Outside the office, Sindre is a sports enthusiast, enjoying playing Football, Tennis, and Padle. He's also a devoted Formula 1 fan, cheering for McLaren.

Bjarne Grimstad
Bjarne leads the company’s research activities. He holds a position as associate adjunct professor at Engineering Cybernetics at NTNU, teaching and supervising students on the topic of AI and machine learning. Bjarne has previously worked as a Senior Engineer at FMC Technologies. He loves climbing, watching Japanese cartoons, and trying out new restaurants in Oslo and abroad.

Ole Jørgen Brønner
Ole Jørgen leads the company’s IT development together with Anders W, contributing to our entire stack from databases to the front-end graphical user interface. He holds a BSc in Computer Science from NTNU, and has previously worked 4 years as a developer at Tripletex. Outside the office Ole Jørgen spends his time bouldering, or practicing juggling on a slackline.

Mathilde Hotvedt Wekre
Mathilde is a part of the Data Science team and leads the development efforts on our data-driven virtual flow metering solution. She holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Cybernetics at NTNU on hybrid AI virtual flow metering. Mathilde spends her free time juggling her many hobbies, among these singing in a choir, knitting, foraging mushrooms, and trekking in the Norwegian mountains.

Emil Johannesen Haugstvedt
Emil is a data scientist with an MSc in Cybernetics and Robotics from NTNU. His master's thesis, surprisingly, combined machine learning, greenhouse monitoring and oil drilling. As a Bergen native, he's glad to boost the Bergen ratio in the company. Emil is an experienced handball player and spends much of his free time playing handball and running along Akerselven.

Rafael Bernardelli
Rafael is a developer at Solution Seeker. He is an Electronics Engineer and holds a MSc in Computer Engineering, specializing in GPU-accelerated ray tracing for optical instrumentation. He has newly relocated to Rio de Janeiro and is deeply enchanted by the city. He’s also a political enthusiast and has quite a green thumb.

Danielle Monteiro
Danielle is a data scientist at Solution Seeker and one of the first Rio's team members. She is a Petroleum Engineer and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Operations Research at UFRJ, specializing in petroleum production optimization problems. From Rio de Janeiro, Danielle loves the beach, training CrossFit, and going out with friends.

Knut Viljar Hilstad
Knut Viljar is a data scientist at Solution Seeker. He holds an MSc in Industrial Economics from NTNU in Trondheim specializing in optimization, and has taken additional courses in mathematics and statistics. Knut Viljar enjoys climbing, skiing and reading. One of his favorite books are The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway.

Stine Torsdatter Ursin-Holm
Stine leads the company's daily operations, and is responsible for organizational development, workflows and company culture. Stine holds an MSc from Industrial Economics at NTNU with specialization in optimization, and is currently the product owner of the software development team. Stine loves running, crossfitting and is the most dedicated beach-bum in our team.

Torgeir is a part of our Data Science team. He holds an M.Sc. in Cybernetics and Robotics from NTNU, specializing in probabilistic theory and machine learning. Besides his passion for clean code, Torgeir enjoys running, climbing and good coffee!

Vidar Uglane
Vidar is in charge of the company’s commercial strategy and initiatives, and manages our client delivery and relationships. He holds an MSc from Industrial Economics at NTNU with specialization in optimization, and has previous experience as a management consultant at McKinsey. He enjoys football and running. Vidar is located in Bergen.

Vegard Ystenæs
Vegard is the CFO, and in charge of the company's financials. He holds a MSc from Industrial Economics at NTNU, and has broad management experience from one of the largest construction companies in Norway. In his previous position, he was responsible of over 400 employees and a turnover of NOK 1.1 billion. Vegard enjoys cars, boat life, skiing and time with family and friends.

Guilherme Kessler
Guilherme runs our operations in Brazil and works alongside the Norwegian team on international projects and funding mechanisms. He holds an MSc in Business Administration by the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and a Law Degree from University of Sao Paulo. Gui is a sauna addict and enjoys running, playing tennis and traveling to unconventional destinations.

Vidar Gunnerud
Vidar is the CEO and main founder of Solution Seeker, holding a PhD from Engineering Cybernetics at NTNU on optimization. Prior to founding Solution Seeker, he managed the short-term production optimization project at the Center for Integrated Operations in the Petroleum Industry at NTNU. Vidar spends his time on spy-series and airplane trivia when he is not at the office.

Ingrid Iversen
Ingrid is our Office Manager. She has studied economics and business administration at BI Norwegian Business School, specializing in HR. As a true Bergen native she loves mountain hiking, downhill skiing and traveling to sunny destinations.

Sheri Shamlou
Sheri is a board member, and as our former CCO, she is an important advisor for the company's commercial strategy. She holds an MSc from Industrial Economics at NTNU with specialization in optimization, and has previous experience as a management consultant at Arkwright. Sheri is an avid yogi, a dedicated book-worm and loves heated discussions about the state of world affairs.

Bjørn-Erik Dale
Bjørn-Erik is co-founder and advisor on strategic partnerships and corporate development. He has over ten years’ experience as strategic and financial advisor to leading international oilfield service and technology companies. He holds an MSc from Industrial Economics NTNU specialized in computer science, optimization and mathematical finance.

Bjarne Foss
Bjarne is co-founder and advisor on our technical development. As Vice President of Research, and previously a professor at the department of Engineering Cybernetics at NTNU, he holds extensive knowledge on control and optimization theory. Bjarne is a foodie and loves spending time at his cabin.

Anders Aune
Anders advises on business development and strategy. He has broad experience in managing tech startups, and has been project manager of more than 80 commercialization projects in his time at NTNU TTO.
